We are now on year 6 of this writing project that aims to identify new and emerging blogs that are making an impact to its readers in 2012 as chosen by peers.

Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs 2012 - Invitation to Participate
These blogs are gradually gaining a considerable amount of readership, following, influence, and fascinating the reader in various ways. They also blog for various reasons such as expression of thoughts, sharing of knowledge and insights, events reporting or coverage, and some for profit.

Mechanics for this year:
- Blogs created anytime from June 2011 to the present are qualified to be cited as one of the Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs for 2012.
- It must have no less than 20 blog post.
- If your blog meets this criteria and you want readers of this post to consider it in preparation of their writing project entry, submit your blog here.
- One blogger one entry only.
- Blog used must be at least 3 months old in order to participate (submit an entry) in the writing project.
- Blog used to submit an entry must have no less than 10 blog post since its creation.
- A writing project entry must cite at least 5 qualified blogs for it to be included in the weekly count.
- All blogs mentioned should have a brief explanation on why they were chosen.
- Only those with complete 10 qualified blogs mentioned and with link to sponsors shall be included for selection in best writing project entry of the week and end of writing project raffle.

- In addition to the usual raffle held at the end of the writing project, we will have 1 weekly winner for best writing project entry.
- The sponsorship fee for this writing project is US$250 that entitles them to a mention in the writing project announcement, 13 weekly summaries, and participant writing project entries who would like to be included in the best writing project entry of the week and ending raffle.
- We only have 10 sponsor slots.
