EMC Appoints Dave Elliott to Lead South Asia Alliances and Partners Team

EMC Corporation, an information storage company, announced the appointment of David Elliott as the new head of Alliances and Partners, South Asia. Elliott, who was most recently the Director of Enterprise Channel Sales ASEAN at Nortel Networks Singapore, brings over 20 years of experience in sales, business development and channels management to EMC.

Steve Coad, General Manager for South Asia, said, "Over the past few years, we have forged strong global and regional partnerships and alliances. It is the cornerstone of EMC's success. By deepening our partner relationships, we ensure that customers can leverage upon the best expertise for their automated networked storage infrastructure to meet their business needs. David brings his extensive geographic knowledge, sales and partner development experience to EMC." Elliot on joining EMC said, "EMC has developed a great alliance and partnership model. Elliot has in-depth Asia Pacific sales, channels management and partners development experience. He held similar management positions in Nortel Networks, Alteon WebSystems, 3Com and Bull Information Systems. He graduated from Gymea College of Technical and Further Education.

New Director for EMC-Datacraft Alliance in Asia Pacific/Japan

The former head of South Asia Alliances and Partners, Steve Goh, has moved to the new role to lead the Datacraft Alliance, Asia Pacific/Japan. His key responsibility is to foster EMC's business with Datacraft throughout the region in key growth markets. He will focus on program development, training and sales execution throughout the region.
